Priest is a sci-fi thriller, set in an alternate world, which is ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampires. The story revolves around a legendary Warrior Priest, a veteran of the last Vampire War, living in obscurity amongst other oppressed human inhabitants in a walled-in, Church ruled city. Priest beaks his sacred vows to venture out on a quest to recover his niece, who has been captured by a murderous pack of vampires, before she is also turned into one of them. He is joined on this quest by his niece's boyfriend, a trigger-happy young wasteland sheriff, and a former Warrior Priestess, possessing otherworldly fighting skills. The movie is based on the graphic novel Priest, and stars Paul Bettany, Cam Gigandet and Maggie Q, in lead roles.
